New SUBLIME+ subscription Streaming in real Hi-Res quality is now a reality

Written by Qobuz

It’s here at last! SUBLIME+ has arrived!

SUBLIME+ is the first subscription service in the world to allow users to stream in Hi-Res (almost 70,000 albums, with High Resolution sampling frequency of up to 24 bit/192 kHz), on top of offering you access to an even bigger catalogue of tracks available in CD quality.

Qobuz was the first online music platform in the world to offer its entire catalogue for streaming in CD quality, providing lossless compression thanks to FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) coding. Now, by the same token, we are offering albums for streaming in Hi-Res quality, also using FLAC coding. This method guarantees that you will hear the same sound quality on these albums as the labels intended; without any technical compromise, or use of special devices – and at an even lower cost, because the FLAC coding mechanism is 100% free to use.

With Sublime+ from Qobuz, real Hi-Res sound quality on streamed music has become a reality. And it works really well with a standard ADSL connection. It also works really well on 4G: all 4G operators are now offering generous packages. And it works really well for downloading music for offline listening within the terms of the Sublime+ subscription deal. It works. It works everywhere:  and it works great.
